Festive Sweets - Sunday 25 May 2025
I had to cancel my Christmas Sweets Class in December 2025, so I thought it would be GREAT to run this class in May. After all festive sweets are good at any time of year! So let’s get baking.
We will be making Sicilian Cannoli (filled with sweet ricotta); the ring shaped Presnitz from Trieste, Panforte di Siena with ginger and almonds and amaretto and chocolate semifreddo.
The class is limited to 8 participants and you will be taking turns to help me prepare these delicious sweets. At the end we will be tasting what we made with a celebratory glass or two of Prosecco (the alcohol free version is you prefer). There will be enough for you to take some home to share so please bring along a small container. The class is held in my renovated warehouse home. Please note I have several flights of internal stairs and a cat. The class runs from 1 pm - 4.30 pm.
Remember to bring an apron to the class if you would like to wear one!

If there are fewer than 5 participants, classes may be cancelled and your money will be refunded. If you are unable to attend a class with up to a week's notice, you can obtain a credit for a future class. You can transfer your spot to a friend at any time.
I will be in touch by email to give you the address in North Fitzroy and directions for the class a week beforehand. I very much look forward to cooking with you!
