The bounty of an autumn Italian Sunday lunch - Sunday 27 April 2025

$250.00
Sold Out

Autumn is such a lovely time for produce, with splashes of orange and brown, the fruit and vegetables reflecting the colours of the season. In this class celebrating autumn we will be preparing a 3-course meal and sitting down to a traditional Italian Sunday lunch.

You will be helping me prepare an appetiser of polpette di spinaci (spinach meatballs), mushroom and ricotta cannelloni (using a hand cranked pasta machine), oven-roasted chicken thighs with mustard and leeks and a plum or pear cake (depending on whether plums are still available!). We will be sharing Prosecco and white wine with our sit-down lunch. Coffee and home made biscotti on arrival while we chat about how the class will run.

The class is limited to seven participants and is held in my renovated warehouse home. Please note I have several flights of internal stairs and a cat. The class runs from 10.30 am to about 2.00 pm.

Remember to bring an apron to the class if you would like to wear one (pasta making can be a bit messy).

If there are fewer than 5 participants, classes may be cancelled and your money will be refunded. If you are unable to attend a class with up to a week's notice, you can obtain a credit for a future class. You can transfer your spot to a friend at any time.

I will be in touch by email to give you the address in North Fitzroy and directions for the class a week beforehand. I very much look forward to cooking with you!
