My mother Livia grew up in the north-eastern corner of Italy, where cooking is influenced by Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. Her apple strudel is made of thin stretched olive oil pastry (the type you can read love letters through), that is filled with apples, grappa-soaked sultanas, pine nuts and spices. She taught me the secrets of making this pastry by hand which I will be teaching you in this special class. We will also be learning to make another sweet treat typical of north-eastern Italy.

Enjoy complimentary Prosecco and homemade snacks during the class AND take home a half-strudel to share with family and friends at home. This is a hands-on class with one-on-one tuition and a maximum of 6 participants, held in my renovated warehouse home.

The class runs 1.30pm - 4.30pm and you will receive a take-home recipe booklet. Remember to bring an apron to the class!

If there are fewer than 4 participants, classes may be cancelled and your money will be refunded. If you are unable to attend a class with up to a week's notice, you can obtain a credit for a future class. You can transfer your spot to a friend at any time.
